Anyone gonna volunteer to post the 3 pages of "motivation" that LPDFTBLL used to grace this forum with every week for his dawgs? Those are some pretty big shoes to fill. 1/3 of it was run on sentences, 1/3 of it was repeating clichés from gatorade commericals from the 80s, and 1/3 of it was written by Yoda.

Interesting thing about that DaneCook, is that back in the late 90's before he was into the net. Bobby was really close with Coach Turner during the championship years, and he wrote several motivational poems or speeches if you will for us to read before games. They were quite good. Maybe his stuff got old, or maybe it was just him that got old. Though if a coach like Tom Turner would allow that stuff to be read as motivation before games, then you know he respected Bobby. With good reason, at that point in time Im not aware of too many that did not respect the man.

Now I don't agree with most of what he says, and he does seem to be pretty closed minded about a lot of the topics that used to be debated on here. He WAS a problem. A lot of what you guys say is true. Though maybe one of two posters here have been out of line with the things they have said about him. Some things that are completely untrue. Now im not gonna say anything to anyone or try to start any trouble. Though you have to realize that this is a man, with a family and friends. Some of the things you say whether it be on the net or in public get back to them. So lets be a little more mature and take the higher road with some of the comments made in this post. I always have had respect for lots of the posters here, though it would be hard to have that same respect if they did not show some respect themselves.

I cannot respect someone that gets on the road under the influence. BTW - he posted what he did publicly in the other forum so I don't have qualms about talking about it here.

Then he lost any chance of gaining respect when he started calling me everything but a white woman, and also going off on how women are only good for one thing (this wasn't an isolated episode - it went on for years). He also like to tell some lies on people (to make him feel better about himself I guess). I never did anything to the man. He's a misogynist - something I can't tolerate.

It's not his opinions on the forum that get to me. It's how he conducts himself in real life and he has disrespected me in real life.

I have no real problem with him, Diets. I think he takes [censored] like this way too serious. A couple years ago, he, I, and stripes were having a convo about Fulmer. Just a friendly discussion, he gets all pissed off and starts calling us idiots and just talking a bunch of trash for no reason. I think he just got to where he grated on people too much. The threats of suing someone every time you logged on here was kind of stupid. I hope he gets help with whatever problem you and others say he has, I've never met him. I tried being nice to him, but after him burning me 3 times on here, I had had enough.

Im not tryin to defend anything he has ever said or done on this forum. I have had my personal differences with him before in the past as well. Though some of the statements made by those who used to associate themselves personally with him are classless. How does it that make you look? Why does this need to be relived on this forum? I dont like dragging him through the mud, and have avoided it for years (even though we were the scum who wasn't on the board when the 'reporter' was around---even though and Counts can verify this as well, we were around, just not posting..just had our suspicions of who it really was but couldn't take action at that point...and Jim, super nice guy that he is/was, didn't want to rock the boat to much.

He's a big reason we started requiring valid emails to register names, and several other changes.

I myself got tired of being told 'i like you fred, you understand people' one day and the next day being called 'the worst thing on the planet' but I still tried to not drag his name out there.

One thing I just really can not stand myself is someone lying directly to me. I can handle someone saying they hate my guts a lot more than I can someone acting like my friend and downing me every chance they get.

My inclination to speak my mind as I see fit has done extremely well for me in the professional world. Every employer I've had and currently have, have listed that as a positive trait for me. Some of the job duties I've been assigned came along specifically because I know how far to push it.

I tried to make nice with his friends. Guess what? That friendship didn't happen. I was nice enough with him. We could chat. But after a while I did all I could do to grin and bear it. And when he went off the deep end I didn't have to grin and bear it anymore. He changed big time.

I saw him in person maybe 2 times ever (if that many times). And he has many strange delusions.

I talked to him because he was Joe's friend and I saw no reason to not try to be friends too. I at least gave him a chance. At some point in fairly recent times he did a 180 and became a completely different person and I had nothing to do with him after that.

I have known Bobby for most of my life and basically he is a good person. Yeah, he lies, drinks etc. but like I said, for the most part, he is ok. He has been dealt a bad hand with life and he hasn't handled that very well. In his defense, when D.J. was having some personal problems that he wouldn't talk to me about, Bobby was there. Gave him some pretty sound advice, too. I think all the mods at that time kinda took D.J. "under" their wing. But for some reason, Bobby was the one that he understood and related to the most.
As for your problems that you had with him elp6n, a drunk is a drunk is a drunk. Nobody can talk sensibly with a drunk, I know, my Dad was one(God rest your soul, Dad).

I, for one, would like to see Bobby back on here, if for nothing else, to try to explain/defend his actions. There have been others banned and allowed back, so why not him.
Yeah, I "pounded" on Pac-Man when he wasn't around and I shouldn't have, but most everyone else on here did. Now he is back as weedeater and able to defend himself. I have decided to ignore his remarks for the most part.
